Miami Event Venues

It’s the only US city founded by a woman, home to the warmest winter weather in the country, and the birthplace of suntan lotion. Miami may be famous for its white-sand beaches, but its indoor spaces are just as notable. A city that welcomes more than 14 million tourists per year and stakes 10% of its local economy on tourism, Miami’s event venues offer beautiful spaces for meetings, weddings, and corporate events.

Casa Marina

Managed by the acclaimed Waldorf Astoria brand, Casa Marina is a resort defined by service. The resort says it this way: “Key West History Meets Contemporary Sophistication.” We’d say it this way: when the movers and shakers need a place to meet in Miami, Casa Marina has played host for decades. Opulent rooms and a myriad of meetings spaces make it perfect for conferences, and its private beachfront location makes it a point of attraction for out-of-town attendees.

Norton Museum of Art

As professional event planners, we’ve become big fans of art museums. Built to create the perfect atmosphere for works of art, these spaces make gorgeous venues for parties, too. Norton is no exception. “Contemporary” doesn’t begin to capture the clean lines and light-filled spaces that the newly decorated Norton Museum of Art offers to event planners. A collection of ceiling-mounted LEDs fill the small dining room like modern stars, while its outdoor lawn can be outfitted with a tent to accommodate large crowds. Clean and stunning.

If eight acres of farmland and a 140-year-old farmhouse doesn’t sound like Miami, that’s because it isn’t. It’s in Malabar, 2.5 hours from Miami, and worth every minute of commute. A canopy of oak trees provides cover from the sun and refuge for wedding guests, whose hosts can enjoy turnkey events thanks to straightforward packages.

A glance at the photos from the La Jolla Ballroom provides instant understanding as to why a Coral Gables event venue would assume the name of a ritzy California city. Complete with terracotta roof and striped awnings, the Tuscan facade greets visitors with a warm and classy style that’s made it ideal for wedding receptions, film shoot after-parties, and even school proms. Catering is taken care of in-house, and their menu offers something for every palate.
