Warner Bros. Studios

Not only does Warner Bros. lend their studio’s lot for special events, but they’ll even connect you to some of the most talented tradesmen in the arts to design and craft memorable props only found in Hollywood.

Vibiana

A chef and a designer walk into a cathedral. What happens next? An event space so gorgeous, you may just decide to renew your vows. For those looking for a turnkey space, the former cathedral’s tall columns and beautiful architecture can easily stand on their own, while those looking for a canvas to take to the next level are more than welcome to gild the lily with LED lighting, posh furniture, and whatever they can dream up.

The GRAMMY Museum

Capacity: 20-450

Location: 800 W Olympic Blvd

Great For: Galas, Charitable Events

Get your very own “Night at the Museum,” when you rent the GRAMMY Museum as a full buyout, where permanent and traveling exhibits chronicle some of music’s biggest names in well-appointed space. Looking for a bit less space while retaining the impressive address? Rent one of their four other spaces, including the 200-seat Clive Davis Theatre, galleries for 100-150, or green room for 20.

Aquarium of the Pacific

Capacity: 125

Location: 100 Aquarium Way

For a more laid back atmosphere that inspires and entertains, consider the Aquarium of the Pacific. Designed as a showcase for the Pacific Ocean and all its inhabitants, the aquarium regularly plays host to company meetings, weddings, and even marriage proposals. Hyde Lounge @ Staples Center

Belasco Theatre

Their attentive staff turns the most sensitive of meetings or most lavish of weddings into something spectacular. Up to 900 conference guests can be pampered with room to breathe, or up to 540 seated for a night, they’ll never forget.

Xbox Plaza

The Xbox Plaza is a chameleon with no parallel in LA. The space is adjacent to the Staples Center and provides the perfect mix of every logistical need that may arise and all the flexibility a massive product launch or ambitious block party requires. The space has been outfitted for various events with transparent tents, vehicle-sized props, tables to dining, and even a full-sized basketball court. If you can dream it, chances are, the Xbox Plaza can make it happen.

Dolby Theatre

Capacity: 3400

Location: 6801 Hollywood Boulevard

Great For: Televised Shows, Performances

This is the event space the Academy thanks. What could top that? Most famous for being the home of the Academy Awards (a.k.a. Oscars), the Dolby Theatre was previously named the Kodak Theatre and has a long history of hosting some of the biggest events in Tinseltown. Its stage is one of the largest in America, measuring 120 feet wide and 75 feet deep. And while the 3400-seat theatre is a daunting size for most events, the stage is routinely outfitted for smaller gatherings with round tables and a much more intimate vibe.

Elevate Lounge

Imperial Western Brewing Co

Within LA’s historic Union Station, Imperial Western brews beer served across the city while shucking oysters and showing guests a grand time. Luckily, Imperial’s brewmasters realized that their space was far more than just a practical spot. Its high arched ceilings and warm surfaces make it a fabulous spot for a semi-casual team celebration or birthday party, which can be rented out for private events.

Rooftop @ The Standard

Great For: Parties, After Parties, Product Launches

Sitting before you is a heated swimming pool, red astroturf, a DJ spinning tunes for a packed dance floor, and waterbed pods. Yes, waterbed pods. You must be on the rooftop of the Standard Hotel, where eclectic design doesn’t even begin to describe the funky aesthetic that is Standard.

Hollywood Palladium

The Hollywood Palladium has hosted Tinseltown’s A-listers for centuries, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Treat guests to a taste of Old School Hollywood with 59,000 square feet of space professionally managed by a full-service staff, all just a mile from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Eucalyptus Grove @ LA Zoo

Family-friendly venues can feel hard to find in LA, but the LA Zoo is certainly one of them. City Market Social House

Once a warehouse, the contemporary City Market Social House is a welcome addition to the downtown LA party scene. Large enough to accommodate 1000 standing guests, City Market’s central downtown location makes logistics a breeze, while the tall ceilings of the once-industrial space allow to space to adapt to a wide variety of uses, from rustic weddings to pop-up galleries, company parties, and more.

SmogShoppe

Capacity: 150 Seated / 250 Standing

Location: 2651 S La Cienega Blvd

Great For: Cocktail Parties, Receptions

If its name sounds bizarre, it’s actually quite practical. SmogShoppe used to be just that: an emissions testing center-turned-event space. Located in Culver City’s design district, the space offers an ideal spot for an art show, intimate wedding, or creative company cocktail party.

Fig & Olive Melrose

Capacity: 250 Seated / 450 Standing

Location: 8490 Melrose Pl

Great For: Dinner Parties, Galas

Melrose Place’s Fig & Olive is one of several notable locations of the restaurant chain, which opens its doors to private parties intimate or large on a regular basis. At 8,000 square feet, Fig & Olive is notable for a few things: lots of natural light, more rosemary plants than you knew could fit into a single place, and food. Good food.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

Capacity: 2252

Location: 111 S Grand Ave

Great For: Seminars, Presentations, Concerts

We could count on one hand the number of Frank Gehry buildings that allow for private events. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of them, and if you’re lucky enough to book it, you’ll secure your spot among the most memorable event venues your guests have ever visited. As a union house, vendor selection is closely controlled, but the results are nothing short of magical.

Millwick

Capacity: 175 Seated / 250 Standing

Location: 800 E 4th Pl

Great For: Weddings, Receptions

Millwick has lived multiple lives. Once a livery, then a warehouse, and now an Insta-worthy event space, the 2500 square-foot garden and 4500 square-foot interior work in tandem to give guests two space for weddings and the reception that follows, or company speeches and the after party drinks that chase them.

Lombardi House

Capacity: 225 Seated / 300 Standing

Location: 1425 N Cahuenga Blvd

Great For: Weddings, Retreats, Corporate Parties

If 35-foot ceilings sound unusual for LA, they are. But this may explain Lombardi House’s ability to pull them off: it was once a barn complete with stables for horses. Today, the estate is a wedding destination, family reunion, and corporate retreat dreamland. Want to host an outdoor movie? This is the place to go.

Montage Beverly Hills
