NEP Open House 2019 Past, Present, and Future.
Past, Present, & Future
Thursday, April 4th National Event Pro’s transformed their offices and warehouse into yet another open house celebration. The NEP Annual Open House is a time for event partners, vendors, entertainers, and industry professionals to come together and celebrate all the successes of the past year, all the exciting new industry happenings, and to celebrate the joy of creating experiences with one another throughout the year. This year’s theme Past, Present, & Future was the perfect theme to celebrate all of those experiences with guests and partners alike.
The open house started with a funky 70’s style lounge complete with a Giant Lite Brite display, a cold brew coffee bar, a glitter tattoo station, and a spin art station modified to fit the theme with vinyl records as a replacement for the typical spin art plates. Guests could also snap a picture at the vinyl record photobooth and enjoy a wide range of nostalgic sweets from the past at the retro candy bar.
Activities
Exiting the retro 70’s inspired lounge guests enter a garden party area filled with a floral photobooth, a beer garden & bar, giant lawn games, a DJ, a giant chess board, and a sprawling indoor lawn for guests to wander around and sample all of the delicious food.
As guests wander through the garden party section further they can solve the mystery box, walk outside to the carnival section where they can enjoy a ride on the pirate ship ride, and play games at the pop-up Games2U arcade.
After the garden party section was the futuristic arcade and silent disco area. The futuristic side of the venue was decked out in LED gaming lounge decor, an entire glow in the dark arcade featuring classics like the Atari pong table, LED bowling, LED basketball arcade games, glow in the dark air hockey and more.
Guests could enjoy a zero-gravity experience by taking a ride on the indoor Human Gyroscope ride as well as enjoy services from balloonists, caricature artists, palm readers, and magicians from all around the venue.
Food & Drink
There was no shortage of delicious dishes to enjoy at the open house with catering from Cafe Pacific, Best Catering, SubZero Ice Cream, Pompeii Wood Fired Pizza, NW Catering and Events, Jimmy’s Kettle Corn, and more.
Guests could enjoy everything from sub-zero icecream made fresh, wood-fired pizza, to an avocado bar where guests could load up an avocado with toppings of their choice.
Photobooths
Throughout the venue, guests had the opportunity to document their night at the open house in each of the Past, Present, and Future styled booths to be entered into giveaways for a variety of prizes.
